When partying, please remember…
A little explanation on this one: There’s a party rule that we the writers and artists have seen crop up here and there. If you pass out at a party, but you’ve taken your shoes off, you’ve “put yourself to bed” (per Ben) and therefore safe from harm amd mischief. However, should you forget, and pass out with shoes on, you become fair-game for the whims of whoever happens to feel like filling your nostrils with whipped cream, or creating an infamous photo that will linger around in someone’s closet to be brought out at future parties.
The artist has never had this happen to her personally, being a non-light drinker, but has seen it happen enough times to have taken the warning to heart.
